The Unit shall have a high impact 2.5 gallon (9.5 l) foam reservoir with a built-in eductor that can be set to the ratio of foam or wetting agents being used, Shall have a large, easy-open fill port has an indicator to show the type of liquid in the tank. The Unit shall work with Inlet pressure from 40 to 500psi with a nominal flow of 12gpm at 100psi. Flow shall be controlled by a twist grip valve that also functions as a carrying handle. The unit shall be supplied with three different quick connect nozzles which will be capable of producing low,medium or High expansion finished foam, while operating at low inlet pressures. The Unit shall be supplied with straight stream nozzle for Class A foam solutions with negligible expansion but can be used where maximum reach or penetration is desired, Low expansion Nozzle which can be used with either Class A or B foam solutions, Reach shall be slightly less than the straight stream, It should be used on Class B fires for extinguishment and Class A fuels to soak the fuel with a wet foam solution and a Medium expansion foam nozzle which produces the greatest expansion ratios which should be used on Class B fuels for vapor suppression and Class A fuels when a longer lasting insulating layer of drier foam is desired.
